Connect a domain you own to your Peedia Online store. Example: shop.example.com.

Before you start

  • You must own the domain and have access to its DNS settings.

  • Check that your account includes custom-domain access.

  • Buying a domain and connecting it to your store are separate steps.

Step 1: Enter your domain

  1. Open Settings → Domains.

  2. Choose Connect Custom Domain.

  3. Enter the domain name only. Example: shop.example.com.

  4. Leave out https://, page paths and a trailing slash.

  5. Choose Connect.

Step 2A: Connect a subdomain

Use this for an address such as shop.example.com.

  • Add the CNAME record shown in your dashboard.

  • Copy the exact Name and Points to values.

Step 2B: Connect a root domain

Use this for an address such as example.com.

  • Use all the nameservers shown by Peedia Online.

  • Check your existing email and other DNS records before replacing nameservers.

  • Ask your domain administrator or support if you are unsure.

Step 3: Check the connection

  1. Return to Domains.

  2. Choose Refresh Status.

  3. If it shows Pending, check the DNS values and allow time for the changes.

  4. When it shows Active, open the domain and check your store.

If the domain stays pending

  • Check the domain spelling and the domain you changed.

  • Compare your DNS records with the exact dashboard instructions.

  • Check for another record using the same subdomain.

  • Use your existing store link while resolving the problem.

  • Send support the domain and status screenshot. Keep registrar passwords private.
